What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information provided through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).

When you use the 2signal SDK or API, we receive trace data, span data, and evaluation results that you explicitly send to our ingestion endpoints. This data belongs to your project and is scoped to your organization.

How We Use Your Data

• To operate and improve the 2signal platform
• To run evaluations on your traces as configured by you
• To send usage notifications (e.g., approaching plan limits)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your trace data to train AI models.

Data Storage

Trace data is stored in PostgreSQL (hosted on Supabase) and raw events are persisted to AWS S3. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Data Retention

Data retention depends on your plan. When data expires per your plan's retention policy, it is permanently deleted through automated cleanup.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• AWS S3 — raw trace storage
• Stripe — billing and subscriptions
• Resend — transactional email
• OpenAI — LLM Judge evaluations (only when configured by you)

Your Rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from the dashboard. To delete your account entirely, contact us at hello@2signal.dev.
